Islamic republic of Iran First Vice President visited Pardis Technology Park

First VP visited departments of Pardis Technology Park on Tuesday afternoon, 28th March 2018.
According to ISNA NEWS AGENCY, Dr. Eshaq Jahangiri was closely briefed about achievements of number of knowledge based companies.
So far, there are nearly 250, start-up tech companies working in Iran’s emerging, advanced and strategic technology areas, such as medicines for hard to treat diseases, hospital and medical equipment, oil, gas, petrochemical equipment, nanotechnology and ICT centers, who have joined Pardis Technology Park, creating opportunities for attracting and direct employment of more than 3500 highly educated and specialized work force in these companies.
Investing 250 million USD by private sector in areas of advanced technologies, export of 25 million USD worth of products and services to 15 countries during past year, more than 390 cooperation agreements with universities and industry over the past year, and receiving more than 300 awards, approvals and certificates from leading local and foreign standardization authorities over the past year, are some of Major Features of Pardis Technology Park.

First VP said, referring to his visit and observed achievements of Pardis Technology Park:
The collection visited in this park is a strong and encouraging source for any Iranian interested in the future and development of the country, and I hope that the Pardis Technology Park will become one of the most successful collections of Technology Parks in Iran, with high volume of export.
Reiterating that country’s industry should also be equipped with up-to-date technologies, Dr. Jahangiri said: Unfortunately, make-up of countries’ enterprises, are not technologically structured and the combination of manpower in these firms needs to be reformed. Research, development and training of human resources in these firms are not suitable and the machinery used in the factories are old and such plants cannot be expected to produce competitive products.
According to ISNA NEWS AGENCY, during First VP’s visit to Pardis Technology Park, Sorena Sattari, VP for science and technology, Mohammad Shariatmadari, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and also Moghimi, Governor of Tehran Province were in attendance.
